Peter Ben creates highly illustrative interpretations of invented worlds inhabitited by strange creatures. His paintings and drawings are influenced by science fiction themes and infused with a sharp humour. This open stockroom event co-incides with Ben’s first solo exhibition currently on at Arts Project Australia. Exhibition runs 12 October – 23 November 2013.
This exhibtion coincides with the group exhibition Convergence, a celebration of the cross-disciplinary exploration of materials, techniques and thematic resolutions inherent in the studio practice of artists working at Arts Project Australia.
