covid-19 safety
For the safety of all artists and staff masks are requested to be worn in the studio. Masks may be removed for eating and drinking.
If you have any symptoms please stay home, do a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) and return when you are well again.
We highly encourage all artists to stay up to date with COVID-19 vaccinations, as many of our artists have underlying health issues. You are due for a COVID-19 vaccine if it has been six-months since your last dose, or since you have had COVID-19. Please visit the Department of Health website for more information. SATELLITE ARTS – NEED HELP SETTING UP ZOOM?
We use Zoom, a cloud-based video conferencing platform, for our online Satellite Arts program. Zoom allows for artists to connect through video, audio-only or both, all while participating in live chats. Please contact us if you need help setting up your Zoom account.
NDIS UPDATE
In 2021, the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) announced a new way to deliver group services, called Programs of Support. From 1st July 2023, Arts Project Australia will run Programs of Support.
Programs of Support:
- Are run for 24 weeks. Arts Project will run two Programs of Support every year.
- Will target your visual arts, studio and creative goals in each program.
- Require a new NDIS Service Agreement with Arts Project Australia. This will be sent to you very soon.
- Are paid for using your Core Supports in your NDIS plan. Programs of Support cost less than you are paying now.
- Include four more weeks in the studio every year.
- Will not mean any changes to your time in the studio. There will be some changes at an administration or invoicing level.
All current artist will have received a Programs of Support ‘Arts Project Pricing Schedule’ based on the current NDIS Price Guide. The 2023-2024 Pricing Schedule would have been send along with your new Service Agreement. If you have any questions please contact the Studio Administrator, Allison O’Callaghan on 9482 4484.
STUDIO TERM STRUCTURE
Arts Project Australia operates as close to the Victorian school term system as possible however as we run 12-week Programs of Support, this can Arts Project’s terms can slightly different to school terms.

- 2023 TERM 1: Monday 23 January – Thursday 6 April
- 2023 TERM 2: Monday 24 April – Saturday 24 June
- 2023 TERM 3: Monday 10 July – Saturday 24 September
- 2023 TERM 4: Monday 2 October – Friday 15 December
