Simon Paredes

Simon Paredes (b 1984, Melbourne) is an emerging artist working in coloured pencil on paper, often integrating Prismacolor pencil on paper. His bold, simplified forms and choice of subject matter features architecture, domestic objects, retro pop culture products, and people on small-format paper. Paredes has worked at Arts Project Australia since 2014. He has exhibited in numerous group exhibitions including Wangaratta Art Gallery and Arts Centre Melbourne and his work is held in private collections in Australia.
