At Arts Project Australia, we are dedicated to promoting inclusivity by amplifying the diverse voices within our community.
Our unwavering commitment to integrity reinforces our belief that actively listening to individuals regarding decisions that impact them yields better results. That is why we stand by the establishment of an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice to parliament.
For over two and a half centuries, we’ve missed the opportunity to truly hear and engage with those who have called this land home for 65,000 years.
We believe that voting YES at the upcoming referendum on 14 October is not only a chance to change this, but also an opportunity for us to move towards a more inclusive future.
Arts Project Australia acknowledge the diverse viewpoints on the upcoming referendum and encourages people to stay informed by seeking balanced information and listening to different opinions, especially those shared by First Nations communities.
